Mr. Ellerbe’s practice is concentrated in bankruptcy reorganization and bankruptcy litigation. Throughout the lengthy and complex history of the Dow Corning bankruptcy case, he has taken a key role in the representation of the debtor in multiple matters, trials and appeals. Additionally, he has represented the debtor in a variety of Chapter 11 cases represented by the firm. He brings over 18 years of litigation and bankruptcy experience to the practice.
Education:Mr. Ellerbe received his B.A. from Georgetown University in 1980 and his J.D. from the University of Texas Law School in 1986.
Affiliations:Mr. Ellerbe was admitted to the Texas bar in 1986. Mr. Ellerbe is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth and Sixth Circuits. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
