Mr. Muenker's practice is concentrated on business finance and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and secured transactions. During his career, Mr. Muenker has represented and advised publicly and privately held companies, boards of directors, bondholders, equity security holders and creditors in connection with a wide variety of in- and out-of-court restructurings, acquisitions and financial transactions.
Representative restructuring matters include those of SageCrest II LLC, Equity Media Holdings Corporation, Enron Corp., NextWave Telecom, Inc., GWI PCS Inc. (n/k/a MetroPCS), Silicon Graphics, Inc., Senior Living Properties and Orion Refining Corporation, among others. Mr. Muenker has also represented a combination of sellers and purchasers in dozens of transactions involving the sale of assets and/or stock with an aggregate value in excess of $1 billion.
Education:Mr. Muenker is a 1997 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, College of Law (with honors), where he was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review and Phi Kappa Phi honor society. He received a B.S. from Oklahoma State University in 1994, while double-majoring in Economics and Finance.
Affiliations:Mr. Muenker was formerly an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Andrews Kurth LLP and has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1997.
